ServSafe Classes at The City Kitch

It's time all of  your culinary management staff get ServSafe® Certified.

Our Next ServSafe® Classes are Monday, October 15, and Monday November  12, 5-9 pm

The State of North Carolina requires a Person In Charge (PIC) to have completed a food service sanitation program approved by the State Health Department with a current certification. At least one Certified PIC has to be present during all hours of operation.

If there isn't a certified manager on site at all times, and you're inspected,  you'll lose up to two points on you sanitation score. Besides that, food safety, proper handling and sanitation should always be your operation’s number one concern.

Our unique course model allows you to study with our instructor/proctor for a two hour facilitated review immediately followed by the ServSafe® Exam.

Cost is only $169 per person and includes all course materials necessary. Please bring your laptop in order to take the ServSafe® Exam on-line.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE LAP-TOPS FOR YOUR USE. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN.

Training covers these concepts:

  • The Importance of Food Safety
  • Good Personal Hygiene
  • Time and Temperature Control

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
  • Safe Food Preparation
  • Receiving and Storing Food
