We are a fully equipped, licensed and permitted commercial kitchen facility available for rent and dedicated to the building and support of small food businesses in the Charlotte Metro area.
Over half of our 12,500 square foot facility is dedicated to spacious common-use cooking areas, private prep condos, dry storage areas and refrigeration. In our kitchens you’ll find multiple large prep stations, a separate room just for bakers and more than 50 feet of commercial exhaust hoods covering a full compliment of high-end commercial kitchen equipment.
Caterers, food trucks, bakers, pastry chefs, personal chefs, food product producers, food artisans, culinary instructors and just about any food-focused business you can think of will find a home at The City Kitch.
What’s more, we’re completely chef centric. Co-owned by highly credentialed Chef Carrie Hegnauer a long time Senior Culinary Instructor at prestigious Johnson & Wales University and a team of culinary, management and marketing professionals, The City Kitch promotes a professional culture and work environment.
We offer an up-scale location, plenty of lighted parking, secure facility access, 24 hour video surveilance and a convenient reservation system that assure you’ll always find your work space and equipment clean and ready for use when you arrive.
As entrepreneurs ourselves we’ll help guide your food business through the many local, state and federal guidelines and culinary challenges with experienced mentorship and consulting available.
